The Problems Landlords Face & How RentRedi Can Help

Whether you’re trying to turn a unit or collect rent it’s never an easy job to be a landlord. Even if you pay for on-site help, there’s always run around with maintenance or a month-long wait to collect monies from the team that manages your property. And, while most tenants mean well, it’s tough when playing phone tag, trying to decide if you’re calling a plumber or grabbing a plunger for repairs.

In a perfect world, every tenant would be nice, pay their rent on time, take care of the property properly, and you’d never have to list another unit or home again. The good news is: times are changing, and RentRedi’s mission is to make renting easy for landlords and tenants, using technology.

RentRedi: Property Management Software

RentRedi is landlord-tenant software that empowers landlords to individually manage their properties and make stress-free renting affordable and accessible to everyone. For landlords, RentRedi provides an all-in-one dashboard that enables them to list properties, prequalify and screen potential tenants, collect and automatically track rent, receive mobile rent payments, communicate with tenants, and manage maintenance with video. By partnering with platforms like TransUnion, Realtor.com, Zillow, and TSYS, we create the best experience possible.

Working with small to mid-sized landlords, RentRedi is different because we talk to our landlords and listen to their problems. We’ve built our technology based on real landlord challenges and we receive rave reviews. For example, the most common challenge of being a landlord is rent collection, whether it’s billing or collecting. However, the root of the issue is that landlords need to receive payments faster. So, we built a feature into our platform to support exactly that, and it’s by far our most popular.

Once you set up your tenants and units, tenants can begin paying rent with a credit card, debit card, or bank account. Payments can be made right from their mobile devices, with credit cards or ACH. If needed, you can split or block rent payments. Tenants will incur a small payment fee, but there is no charge to landlords for payments and there’s no extra fee for additional units or tenants. You can also set up multiple bank accounts for different properties you own. And, voila! Your payments are streamlined. No more waiting and no more red tape.

Reduce Tenant Turnover

Tenant turnover is another common challenge that landlords face. RentRedi offers many features that support a better relationship between landlords and tenants which helps reduce tenant turnover. If you have a vacant unit, our app connects to Realtor.com, Zillow, and RentRedi (free sharable listings page) so you can list vacant units as needed.

For tenants, the app enables them to prequalify and apply to apartments, so you can meet the best applicants, not the first applicants. Tenants can also pay rent and submit maintenance requests by uploading a 5-second video of the problem. From there, landlords contact maintenance on the app and then receive confirmation once the job is complete. It’s a great way to streamline communication and nice to have all your units managed under one roof.

Conveniently Management Properties

Additionally, another challenge for small landlords is finding the perfect program to help them easily and conveniently manage their properties—whether they’re looking to simply streamline their passive income process or are considering growing their business. RentRedi charges a flat $20/month to landlords. This includes unlimited tenants, units, and team members.

You can list properties, submit maintenance requests, and add as many units and tenants as you want, with no additional cost. All subscriptions occur on a month-to-month basis. If you need to cancel your subscription for any reason, simply remove your payment method from your account before the payment due date.

  1. Can this application work in countries other than the US of A?

    1. Hi, Mike! Currently, RentRedi is only available in the US. What country would you be interested in using RentRedi in?

  2. Does your program link to accounting software? Can you receive invoices and send payments to contractors?

    1. Hi, Mitchell! With RentRedi, you can export to spreadsheets, Quickbooks Online, Desktop, or Pro for accounting, or even share directly with your accountant. Here’s how: Accounting with RentRedi. The invoices with contractors will be still sent through Quickbooks, but you can link and connect any and all of your team members and maintenance personnel, so they can mark how much labor and material cost are associated with each maintenance request. If you’d like, you can even invoice tenants for any costs directly through RentRedi.
