Artificial Intelligence Features Addendum

This Artificial Intelligence Features Addendum (“AI Addendum”) is entered into by and between RentRedi, Inc. (“RentRedi”) and the individual or entity accessing or using the RentRedi platform (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). This AI Addendum is incorporated into and forms part of the RentRedi Terms of Service (available at: https://rentredi.com/terms/) (“Agreement”) and governs your access to and use of any AI Features (defined below). In the event of any conflict between this AI Addendum and the Agreement, this AI Addendum controls with respect to the AI Features, including but not limited to your use of AI Features and any Output (defined below). Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the meanings given in the Agreement.


Effective Date: 06/12/2026     

By enabling or using any AI Feature, you hereby agree to the terms of this AI Addendum. If you do not agree, you must not enable or use any AI Features in whole or in part.

1. DEFINITIONS

Capitalized terms used in this AI Addendum and not defined in the Agreement have the following meanings:

“AI Features” means any functionality within the RentRedi platform that uses machine learning, large language models, natural language processing, generative artificial intelligence, or similar automated inference technologies, in whole or in part, to interpret user intent, generate outputs, or take actions, including but not limited to account setup assistants, portfolio analysis tools, business intelligence agents, automated workflow tools, recommendation engines, and AI playbooks.

“AI Output” means any text, data, recommendation, configuration, draft, summary, or action generated or taken by an AI Feature, whether in response to your prompt or initiated automatically based on prior instructions or saved configurations.

“AI System” means any machine-based system or model, including but not limited to any machine learning models, large language models, and generative AI, that uses Customer Input to generate AI Output based on probabilistic inference.

“Customer Input” means any data, prompt, instruction, parameter, natural language text, voice input, or other information provided by you to an AI Feature, or accessed by an AI System in connection with your use of AI Features, including but not limited to User Data processed automatically.

“Third-Party AI Provider” means any third-party company that provides foundational AI models, APIs, or related infrastructure used by RentRedi to power or enable AI Features. 

“User Data” means any information you input or cause to be input into or that is processed by an AI Feature, including but not limited to property information, tenant information, financial records, lease terms, contact information, and natural language prompts.

2. AI FEATURES — SCOPE AND OPT-IN

2.1 Optional Functionality.

You may enable or use AI Features at your sole discretion. By enabling any AI Feature, you hereby opt in to the functionality and terms described in this AI Addendum. RentRedi makes no representation, covenant, or warranty to you or any third party that any AI Feature will be available in all jurisdictions, for all account types, or at all times. AI Features may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time in RentRedi’s sole discretion.

2.2 Third-Party Technology.

AI Features are powered and/or enabled by a combination of RentRedi’s proprietary systems and Third-Party AI Providers. RentRedi reserves the right to add, modify, discontinue, or substitute Third-Party AI Providers in RentRedi’s sole discretion at any time.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE

3.1 Your Use.

You hereby agree to use AI Features strictly in accordance with applicable documentation provided or made accessible to you by or on behalf of RentRedi and in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including, but not limited to, any laws requiring disclosure, consent, or notice in connection with your use of AI Features. You shall not circumvent, override, or bypass any safety or security features of AI Features, including, but not limited to, through prompt injection, jailbreaking, or similar techniques.

3.2 Prohibited Uses.

You shall not use AI Features, directly or indirectly (through a third party or otherwise), to:

  • Generate or transmit content that is unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory, or otherwise harmful;
  • Make consequential decisions about individuals, including protected classes, without appropriate human review and oversight;
  • Produce or distribute misleading AI-generated content intended to deceive third parties;
  • Violate applicable laws, rules, or regulations, including, but not limited to, the Fair Housing Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, or any applicable federal, state, or local fair housing or anti-discrimination law, rule, or regulation; or
  • Collect, process, or share personal data without sufficient legal authorization and consent.

4. HUMAN OVERSIGHT AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

4.1 Your Responsibility for AI Outputs.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving any AI Output before relying on it or permitting it to affect your account, tenants, or business operations. You hereby acknowledge and agree that AI Outputs may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose, and that RentRedi’s role is to provide AI Features as tools, not to independently verify or validate the accuracy or legal compliance of AI Outputs. You hereby acknowledge that RentRedi hereby disclaims any and all obligation(s) or responsibilities to verify or validate the accuracy or legal compliance of any AI Output. In the event that RentRedi verifies or validates any AI Output of you or any other customers, you hereby acknowledge and agree that such actions shall not be deemed to establish any duty or responsibility of RentRedi to you or any third party.

4.2 Automated Actions.

Where you configure an AI Feature to take actions automatically, including in future functionality where confirmation steps may not be required, you hereby expressly authorize RentRedi to take those actions on your behalf based on your prior instructions or saved configurations. You hereby acknowledge and agree that such automated actions are taken at your direction, under your authority, and that RentRedi is not independently verifying the accuracy or legal compliance of each or any automated action.

5. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

5.1 Informational Nature of AI Outputs.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that AI Features do not constitute, and neither you nor any third parties should rely upon AI Outputs as, legal, financial, tax, accounting, investor advice, real estate, or other professional advice. All AI Outputs are informational and assistive in nature only. RentRedi hereby expressly disclaims all responsibility for your reliance on AI Outputs. You hereby agree to contact an applicable and qualified professional to receive any legal, financial, tax, accounting, real estate, or other professional advice.

6. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW

  1. Your Compliance Obligations.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of AI Features, and any actions, communications, or configurations resulting therefrom, comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, including without limitation: Landlord-tenant laws, rules, or regulations governing notice requirements, fee limitations, and lease disclosures; Fair housing and anti-discrimination laws, including but not limited to the Fair Housing Act and applicable state and local equivalents; Laws governing automated decision-making, algorithmic rent-setting, or automated fee assessment in your jurisdiction(s); Rent stabilization, rent control, or rent increase limitation ordinances applicable to your properties; Consumer protection, privacy, and data security laws applicable to your communications with tenants and processing of any third party’s data or information.

6.2 No Jurisdictional Warranty.

RentRedi does not represent, covenant, or warrant that any AI Features comply, in whole or in part, with the laws, rules, or regulations of any specific jurisdiction, and the availability of an AI Feature does not imply legal compliance in your location. You hereby acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for evaluating applicable legal requirements before using any AI Features in whole or in part in any of your workflows or otherwise. You hereby acknowledge that AI Features are not designed for, and are not intended to satisfy, any specific regulatory, legal, or compliance obligation of you or any third party.

6.3 AI-Generated Communications.

To the extent you use AI Features to generate communications, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with any applicable disclosure obligations regarding AI-generated content. RentRedi recommends that you review all AI Feature-generated communications before sending and, where required or appropriate, disclose to recipients that the communication was generated with AI assistance.

7. TRAINING AND DATA USE

7.1 AI Training on Customer Data.

RentRedi reserves the right to review interactions conducted through AI Features, including Customer Inputs and AI Outputs, for the purpose of evaluating whether such features are performing accurately and in accordance with your needs and reasonable expectations. RentRedi may use the results of such evaluations to update, refine, or modify the instructions, system configurations, prompt structures, and operational logic that govern the behavior of AI Features. For the avoidance of doubt, such evaluations and resulting modifications are directed solely at improving the reliability, accuracy, and performance of the AI Features as delivered to our customers, and do not train, fine-tune, or otherwise modify the underlying AI models provided by third-party AI model providers.

7.2 Aggregate and De-Identified Data.

Notwithstanding Section 7.1, RentRedi may use aggregate, de-identified data derived from platform usage, including but not limited to, AI Feature interactions, to improve platform functionality and as permitted under applicable laws.

8. INPUT AND OUTPUT

8.1 Customer Input.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that you, and not RentRedi, are solely responsible for all Customer Input, including its accuracy, quality, appropriateness, and legality. You hereby represent, covenant, and warrant that Customer Input does not: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) violate the terms of the Agreement or this AI Addendum; or (c) infringe, violate, or misappropriate the rights of any third party. You hereby acknowledge and agree that you, and not RentRedi, are solely responsible for obtaining all consents and authorizations necessary for the use and processing of Customer Data in connection with AI Features.

8.2 AI Output.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that RentRedi does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI Output, and that your reliance on AI Output is at your sole risk. You hereby acknowledge that AI Output may contain errors, hallucinations, biases, or other limitations inherent to AI technologies.

8.3 Ownership.

As between RentRedi and you, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you retain all rights in Customer Input (excluding any RentRedi intellectual property incorporated therein). RentRedi does not claim ownership of AI Output generated from Customer Input. You hereby grant RentRedi a limited, non-exclusive worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to process Customer Input as necessary to provide AI Features to you in accordance with the Agreement.

9. DATA PROCESSING

9.1 Processing of User Data.

To provide AI Features, RentRedi processes User Data using RentRedi’s proprietary systems and Third-Party AI Providers. By using AI Features, you consent and authorize RentRedi to process User Data as described in RentRedi’s Privacy Policy (available at: https://rentredi.com/privacypolicy/) and this AI Addendum.

10. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

10.1 AI Feature Disclaimers.

AI FEATURES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITH ALL FAULTS AND ERRORS. RENTREDI HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL AND MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING AI FEATURES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI OUTPUTS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, HALLUCINATIONS, OMISSIONS, OR INACCURACIES AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON WITHOUT INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION. RENTREDI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT AI FEATURES COMPLY WITH THE LAWS OF ANY SPECIFIC JURISDICTION, OR THAT USE OF AI FEATURES WILL RESULT IN LEGALLY OR CONTRACTUALLY COMPLIANT LANDLORD-TENANT PRACTICES.

10.2 Limitation of Liability.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RENTREDI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO: (A) ANY AI OUTPUT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ERRORS, HALLUCINATIONS, OMISSIONS, OR INACCURACIES IN AI-GENERATED CONTENT; (B) AUTOMATED OR SEMI-AUTOMATED ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON YOUR INSTRUCTIONS OR CONFIGURATIONS; (C) YOUR OR ANY THIRD PARTY’S RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED RECOMMENDATIONS, DRAFTS, OR ANALYSIS INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, AI OUTPUT; OR (D) ANY CLAIM BY A THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, A TENANT, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON ANY AI FEATURES OR AI OUTPUT. THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF RENTREDI IN CONNECTION WITH ANY AI FEATURES IS LIMITED AS SET FORTH IN THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY PROVISION OF THE AGREEMENT.

10.3 Indemnification.

You hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RentRedi and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers (including, without limitation, Third-Party AI Providers) from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or in connection with: (a) your use of AI Features; (b) AI Outputs applied to your account regardless of whether such application was at your direction or confirmation; (c) claims by tenants or third parties arising from AI-generated communications or automated actions taken using AI Features; (d) your failure to comply with applicable law, rule, or regulation in connection with your use of AI Features; and/or (e) your breach or violation of this AI Addendum.

11. AI RISK CONSIDERATIONS

11.1 Fair Housing and Non-Discrimination.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that AI-generated recommendations, including, without limitation, rental pricing suggestions, tenant screening outputs, or lease renewal terms, could potentially affect individuals in protected classes. You hereby acknowledge that you are solely responsible for evaluating AI Outputs for potential disparate impact and ensuring that your use of AI Features does not result in unlawful discrimination under the Fair Housing Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, or any applicable federal, state, or local laws, rules, or regulations.

11.2 Consequential Decisions.

You hereby agree to implement appropriate human oversight for any consequential decision made using AI Features, including, without limitation, decisions that affect tenant rights, lease terms, fees assessed against tenants, or legal notices. RentRedi recommends that you not rely solely on AI Output for any decision that could have material legal or financial consequences for tenants or any third parties.

12. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION OF AI FEATURES

RentRedi reserves the right to modify, limit, suspend, or terminate access to any AI Feature: (a) immediately and without notice if RentRedi determines you are in violation or potentially in violation of this AI Addendum or the Agreement; (b) upon notice (email acceptable) if required by a change in applicable law, rule, regulation, regulatory guidance, or order of a legal authority that renders RentRedi unable to continue offering the relevant AI Feature; or (c) upon notice (email acceptable) if RentRedi discontinues the AI Feature or changes any underlying Third-Party AI Provider technology.

13. AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES

RentRedi may update this AI Addendum from time to time as AI Features evolve or as required by applicable law, rule, or regulation. Material updates will be communicated in accordance with the notice provisions of the Agreement. Your continued use of AI Features following the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised AI Addendum. This AI Addendum is intended to provide durable coverage as RentRedi’s AI capabilities develop, including future fully automated workflows that may not require a confirmation step.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this AI Addendum is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND AUTOMATED PROCESSING

RentRedi utilizes AI Features (as defined in our Terms of Service) to support the delivery of the Services. This section describes how RentRedi collects, uses, and discloses Personal Data in connection with AI Features, and explains your rights with respect to such processing. By using AI Features within the Services, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, transmission, and processing of your Personal Data as described in this section.

Categories of Personal Data Processed Through AI Features. In connection with your use of AI Features, RentRedi may collect and process the following categories of Personal Data, whether provided directly by you or submitted to the Services on your behalf or about you by another user:

  • Identifiers, including name, email address, telephone number, and postal address;
  • Rental Data, including property addresses, lease terms, rental history, and tenancy configurations;
  • Financial Data, including payment history, fee structures, and income information;
  • Employment Data, where provided in connection with tenant applications or onboarding; and
  • Sensitive Personal Data, including social security numbers and government-issued identification numbers, where submitted in connection with identity verification or tenant screening workflows.

Landlords represent and warrant, as a condition of using AI Features, that they have the lawful authority to submit any third-party Personal Data to the Services and that such submission is consistent with applicable law.

Purposes of Processing. RentRedi processes Personal Data through AI Features for the following business and commercial purposes:

  • To deliver, operate, and improve the AI Features and the Services generally;
  • To interpret user inputs and generate responses, populate data fields, apply configurations, or execute operational actions within the Services on your behalf;
  • To evaluate the accuracy and performance of AI Features, including by reviewing Customer Inputs and AI Outputs, and to update, refine, or modify the instructions, system configurations, prompt structures, and operational logic that govern AI Feature behavior; and
  • To generate recommendations intended to support your property management and business decisions.

For the avoidance of doubt, RentRedi does not use your Personal Data to develop, train, fine-tune, or otherwise modify the underlying AI models provided by third-party AI model providers. Performance evaluations and resulting modifications are directed solely at improving the reliability and accuracy of AI Features as delivered to RentRedi’s customers.

Disclosure of Personal Data to Third-Party AI Model Providers. To deliver AI Features, RentRedi discloses your Personal Data to third-party AI model providers acting as service providers on RentRedi’s behalf. Such providers may include, without limitation, OpenAI, LLC; Google LLC; and Anthropic, PBC. These providers receive your Personal Data solely for the purpose of providing contracted services to RentRedi and are contractually prohibited from: (i) using your Personal Data for their own independent business purposes; (ii) selling or sharing your Personal Data; or (iii) developing, training, or otherwise improving their own AI models using your Personal Data.  

Your Rights Regarding AI-Powered Processing. In addition to the rights described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, the following rights apply specifically in connection with AI Features:

  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Data. To the extent that AI Features process your Sensitive Personal Data, you have the right to direct RentRedi to limit such use to that which is reasonably necessary to perform the Services you have requested, consistent with your rights under applicable law. To exercise this right, please contact us as described in the Contact Information section or submit a request through our CCPA Request Form. 
  • Right to Know. You have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of Personal Data RentRedi has collected, used, or disclosed in connection with AI Features, consistent with your rights as described in the California Privacy Rights section of this Privacy Policy.
  • Right to Delete and Correct. You may request deletion or correction of Personal Data processed in connection with AI Features, subject to the exceptions and verification requirements described in the Consumer Requests and Verification section of this Privacy Policy.
  • Required Human Review; Customer Responsibility. No AI Feature is designed or intended to replace human judgment, and no AI Output should be accepted, applied, saved, or communicated to any third party without independent human review. All users of AI Features are required to: (i) review all AI Outputs using their own knowledge, experience, and any other information available to them beyond the AI Output itself prior to taking any action based on such output; (ii) exercise independent judgment in evaluating the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of any AI Output in light of their specific circumstances; and (iii) assume full responsibility for any decision made, action taken, or content communicated based on or derived from an AI Output. RentRedi’s AI Features are tools to assist your decision-making and do not relieve you of your obligations to exercise reasonable care and independent judgment. RentRedi shall have no liability for any harm, loss, or adverse outcome arising from a user’s failure to independently review and evaluate an AI Output prior to acting upon it.

Limitations and Disclaimers. AI Outputs are provided for informational and assistive purposes only and do not constitute professional legal, financial, investment, or property management advice. All AI-generated content, recommendations, configurations, and actions should be independently reviewed by you prior to being saved, applied, communicated to third parties, or otherwise relied upon. RentRedi makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI Output. RentRedi shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, unintended actions, or adverse outcomes arising from your use of AI Features, including outcomes resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous inputs you provide.
