Our story
RentRedi began with a simple problem: our founder, Ryan Barone, couldn’t secure an apartment because gathering the right documents for applications was harder than it should have been. Talking to friends, he realized it wasn’t just him — renting was stressful for both tenants and landlords. So he built a small app to make the process easier.
As more landlords shared their struggles, that little app grew into RentRedi: an all-in-one platform designed to help independent landlords run their rentals like a business, without losing the human touch. From collecting rent to screening tenants, handling maintenance, or signing leases, RentRedi makes it possible to stay organized, look professional, and build better relationships.
Today, nearly 200,000 landlords and renters use RentRedi — from people managing their first property to those growing their portfolios. We’re proud to provide the RentRedi platform to h help real people like you feel confident, capable, and supported as they build their financial futures.

What started as one person’s idea has grown into a team of 60+ people across the U.S. and beyond, all working toward the same goal: helping landlords be property wise. We may be spread out across time zones, but we work smarter together—collaborating closely, celebrating wins, and supporting each other every step of the way.
You’ll often find us gathering in New York City, connecting at industry events, or meeting up internationally—like our recent team retreat in the Philippines. No matter where we are, we stay united by a shared passion for building tools that make renting better.
What sets us apart is that many of us are landlords and real estate investors ourselves. That firsthand experience keeps us grounded in the challenges of property management and focused on creating solutions that truly move the needle for landlords and tenants alike.

Since founding RentRedi in 2016, RentRedi has raised more than $17M, manages over $33 billion in assets, and has been recognized on the Inc. 5000, Fast Company’s Next Big Things in Tech, and HousingWire’s Tech100 lists. A passionate foodie and programmer, Ryan enjoys basketball, chess, and exploring new travel destinations.
Ed Barone

Ed Barone is the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of RentRedi, where he’s helped scale the company into a nationally recognized leader in rental management. With 30+ years of experience in marketing, finance, and real estate, Ed brings strategy and heart to every initiative. Ed loves spending time with his kids and traveling with his wife of 32 years.
David Rogers
CTO
David Rogers is an accomplished technology leader with over 20 years of experience building scalable cloud platforms and mentoring high-growth engineering teams. At RentRedi, he drives innovation and operational excellence across the engineering organization. Outside work, David enjoys life on his North Carolina hobby farm with his wife, many children, and even more barnyard animals.
Kelly LeVasseur
VP, Growth
Kelly LeVasseur is a startup veteran with 20+ years of experience scaling early-stage companies, including ventures acquired by AOL and Apple. She’s grown RentRedi from 150 customers to +35K active users and earned recognition as a “Top 50 Tech Visionary.” Outside of work, she manages a 1950s cottage mid-term rental and a small flower farm specializing in dahlias.
Mary Kate Woonton
Head of Product
Mary Kate Woonton is a seasoned product leader with deep expertise in property technology and a passion for creating customer-centered solutions. She previously led product initiatives at Buildium and RealPage before joining RentRedi. Based in Austin, she enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time outdoors with her family.
Danny Hehir
Head of Sales & Support
Danny Hehir leads RentRedi’s Sales and Support divisions, overseeing a 34-person team that doubled sales output and boosted customer retention by nearly 50%. A neuroscience major turned business leader, Danny combines data-driven insight with empathy. A New York native, he loves rock climbing, weightlifting, the New York Jets, and his rescue dog, Choco.

Jordan Krey is an engineering leader with 20+ years of experience designing scalable SaaS platforms and guiding teams through complex architectural challenges. At RentRedi, he fosters technical excellence through mentorship, empathy, and collaboration. Off the clock, Jordan enjoys exploring emerging tech and spending time with his family outdoors.
