From Woes to Wow: One Realtor’s Journey to Success
Hi! My name is Amanda Shirley, and I am a realtor and owner of Aguilar Verde Real Estate. I have one agent underneath me. So, I am the number 1—or the only 1—for marketing our business and not just the management side, but also the buying and selling of residential.
We love RentRedi. It’s definitely helped us grow our business. And anytime that we talk to somebody, we let them know this is who we use, this is why we use it. And everybody’s really excited that we use it because it’s a great platform and easy.
While using RentRedi, we had one house that I put on the market on a Friday, and it was gone by a Tuesday.
Property Management Woes
I felt like we were kind of fish out of water with the whole property management. Many of the people we talked to were like, “Oh yeah, just collect the rent and stick it in the bank account.” But, how do you know what’s actually accounted for and then maintenance?
To the Rescue: RentRedi
Any maintenance things went through RentRedi to our email. We were able to call exactly who we needed—even being remote—and have it all taken care of. We’re not having to go door-to-door to collect rent. It’s all set up.
It’s also easy to track the books. We know exactly what’s going in, what’s going out. So it was just a really good system to set up for us to be able to manage properties a lot easier.
RentRedi is a huge time-saver because I don’t think that we would have the time otherwise to manage rentals. To go to all the properties and say, “hey, I need your rent or sent it in our office” tand ensure that the rent was getting there. But RentRedi sends us an email when somebody has paid, so we know immediately. All right, they’ve paid. We’re good.
It’s so much easier for the tenants to click on the maintenance and say exactly what they’ve done. They can upload the photos and do not have to call us or set up a meeting. So it alleviates the extra time we’re having to spend going to each tenant’s house.
